Coming from the North on GS Parkway, or NJ Turnpike,
get onto Rt 1 South. Go to Plainfield Avenue, about 3 to 8 miles depending on where you got onto Rt 1. (there is a big shopping center there called WickPlaza-look for a big American flag and a Pathmark supermarket. Make a right turn onto Plainfield Ave. (Rt.529) (There is a turn off just before the light at the Plainfield Avenue intersection which will take you to Plainfield Ave, watch for the sign.) Go to and THRU these cond traffic light (that will be the Rt. 27 intersection).The Stelton Community Center will be on your left about a block and a half past the light. It has a big white sign in front that says:Dorothy K. Drwal Community Center. At this corner make a turn onto Division Ave. and follow it to the right to the school.
Coming from the south:
get on Rt. 1 North and after you come over the Morris Goodkind Bridge (spans the Raritan River) go to Plainfield Ave. (about a mile from the bridge), where you need to follow the signs for U and Left turns because you have to cross Route 1. There is a Mack Truck building there. Then follow the directions above from Parkway & Turnpike.
From Rt. 22:
go to Washington Avenue, continue South on that road (it becomes Stelton Road, then Plainfield Ave.) past Kilmer Road, under train trestle (EdisonStation) and the Stelton Community Center will be on your right just past the library, about 2¬‡ blocks. At this corner make a turn onto Division Ave. and follow it to the right to the school.
