Welcome to the

The New Providence Music & Art
Festival, an annual event sponsored
by the Summit Medical Group and
presented by the NP Business and
Professional Association, will be
held on Sunday, September 7 from
10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (rain or shine)
along Springfield Avenue and South
Street. This family-oriented street
festival offers attractions for all.

There will be kiddie rides, pony
rides, a petting zoo and a special
Kid Friendly Art Zone featuring
hands on craft projects for the
children. The art zone is made
possible by a generous donation
from the Prestige Diner.

At Centennial Park on Springfield
Avenue you will enjoy the Music
and Arts area, which includes a wide
variety of hand-crafted works from
our Arts & Crafts exhibitors and a
pleasing selection of live music
throughout the day at the gazebo.

Along South Street you will find
many local businesses and street vendors selling all kinds of unique
items at great prices, too! Be sure to come hungry...we have lots of
delicious foods. There will be hot
dogs, pulled pork and sausage and pepper sandwiches, shish-k-bobs,
pizza, zeppoles, ice cream, butterfly
fries, cotton candy and much more.

Open Call for local talent will be
held in our 2nd entertainment area
on South Street. Open Call will
spotlight singers, bands, musicians
karate demonstrations, dancers
etc. from the local area. Contact us
if you know someone who wants
to participate. If you are under
18 years old have your parents
call. Remember...this is not
karaoke show, we are looking
for real talent!
